Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood. - T.S. Eliot

I found my love of poetry back in 2021, thanks to my drama teacher Mr. Harry Jackson. He guided us through classic works before inspiring us to craft and perform original poetry as physical theatre in our drama festival. Reflecting on my far-from sophisticated winning piece The Forever Dandelion, I see why poetry has woven itself into my life. It distills language to its most vivid and elegant essence, urging the writer to explore multiple dimensions of thought before giving it form. Poetry has become my lens for engaging with the world: I play, wonder, and navigate a spectrum of emotions through its verses.

Here is a list of poems I have written. Enjoy!
